Office Assistant (Part-TIme)
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and organized Office Assistant to join our ministry team. This position plays a vital role in helping us serve women and families with excellence, empathy, and the hope of Christ.
Position: Part-Time Office Assistant
Hours: 20 hours per week
Compensation: $10-$13/hour
About the Position
The Office Assistant helps create a welcoming, efficient, and organized environment for clients, volunteers, and staff. This role supports the daily operations of the center, contributes to client care through administrative excellence, and helps communicate the mission of the center through social media and marketing tasks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an administrative support role
- High school diploma or GED required
- A follower of Christ who is passionate about pro-life ministry
- Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Comfortable operating standard office equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to research and find information
- Skilled in social media and marketing
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time well, and solve problems
- Willingness and capacity to learn new software, processes, and train others
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and run the front office during operating hours
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to the center
- Maintain electronic and hard-copy files in accordance with HIPAA privacy standards
- Perform data entry into the Ekyros client management system
- Train and support new and current volunteers
- Manage the center’s social media presence, including weekly posts, engagement, and event updates
- Assist in resolving administrative issues as they arise
- Schedule and manage client appointments, including daily follow-ups
- Maintain and update center inventory
- Answer phone calls, emails, and general inquiries
- Schedule and coordinate onsite meetings
- Perform and train volunteers on pregnancy testing procedures
- Carry out delegated tasks from the Executive & Outreach Director
- Attend and support ultrasound appointment days
